Pre-Order Elizabeth Burk's "Learning to Love Louisiana"

 Yellow Flag Press is proud to announce that our next chapbook release will be Elizabeth Burk's Learning to Love Louisiana.



Elizabeth Burk is a psychologist who currently divides her time between a practice in New York and a husband in southwest Louisiana. Her work has appeared in CALYX, RATTLE, Atlanta Review, The Southern Poetry Anthology: Louisiana, The Louisiana Review, South Carolina Review, Spillway, Workers Write! Tales From The Couch, New Madrid and other journals and anthologies. Her poems have been read on public radio, KRVS, Lafayette, La. and her work has been performed at the Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Arts, Peekskill, NY and other venues in the New York area.


The first edition copies will be limited to 26 lettered copies with french-fold covers made of reclaimed maps. A second edition pressing will certainly follow, and we'll have more info on that soon.

Erica McCreedy's "Red Winters"

We are getting ready to launch our newest chapbook, Erica McCreedy's Red Winters. Each of these 6"x6"chapbooks will be hand-made one at a time with grungepaper covers, Japanese binding, and each one will have unique hand-stamped cover art. These will be limited to a first run of under 30 copies. All copies will be hand-numbered and signed by the author. Below is a picture of the prototype with Japanese binding (missing cover art of course).

Half of this pressing will be on green stock and the other half on rust. All orders for the chapbook will now receive the third editions.
